Certiwa portal: a client portal for running ISO certification. Outstanding tasks, document statuses, audit progress and notifications, in Swedish.
About the client
Certiwa are Swedish ISO consultants from Malmö who take small and medium-sized companies to certificates for eight ISO standards, from 9001 and 14001 to 27001 and 42001, at a fixed price and typically within three to six months. Their process runs from gap analysis, through building the management system, to the internal audit and support at certification.
The portal digitises exactly that process: instead of exchanging documents by email, client and consultant work on the same list of requirements and statuses. We also built Certiwa's main website, certiwa.se, so the portal continues the same visual identity.
Challenge
ISO certification means dozens of documents across several standards at once, and client and consultant exchange them by email: at any given moment nobody quite knows what has been submitted, what was returned for completion, what is expiring and how close the audit is. The consultant loses hours to where-are-we-now questions, and certification feels more opaque to the client than it really is.
Solution
We built a client portal at portal.certiwa.se, in Swedish: the overview says what comes next and what the consultant is reviewing, every document carries a status (approved, under review, needs completion, expiring soon), and progress towards the scheduled audit is tracked per standard, with a requirements catalogue organised by the clauses of each standard and notifications. The portal is a statically generated Astro build, fast and with no server to maintain.
Result
The client sees at any moment how far they have come, what is waiting on them and when the audit is, without a single status-question email. The portal is publicly available as a demo with fictional data, so anyone can walk through it before becoming a client.
