About the client
Cargo Shark is a US freight and logistics company. Its services cover dry van freight, less-than-truckload shipments, box trucks, temperature-controlled transport, flatbeds and specialised cargo.
The website serves two audiences: businesses arranging freight transport and carriers interested in working with the company. The shark and ocean theme ties their content together, while separate calls to action connect each audience with its next step.
Challenge
The website needed to combine an expressive underwater scene with practical information about road freight. Shippers need to find the right service, while carriers look for partnership information. The layered composition and motion also had to work on smaller screens and accommodate visitors who prefer reduced animation.
Solution
We translated the supplied visual concept into a Next.js website where scrolling follows a descent from the ocean surface to the seabed. Each of the six freight services has its own section with vehicle illustrations, cargo descriptions and access to a quote request. The shark, fish, bubbles and cargo move as separate layers, with support for reduced motion. Service navigation is complemented by a carrier page, a blog and a searchable newsletter archive.
Result
The completed site combines a distinctive visual story with clearly separated information for shippers and carriers. Visitors can choose a freight type and continue towards a quote from the relevant service section, while articles and newsletter issues have dedicated reading pages. Desktop and mobile layouts preserve the same content structure and brand identity.
