About the client

Andjelkovic-Al, based in Vinca near Belgrade, sells components of the Alumil SMARTIA M11000 aluminium system from its own stock: profiles, tilt-and-turn hardware, gaskets, polyamide strips and glass. The company is not an authorised distributor for the manufacturer but an independent seller of stock, and the site says so openly.

The business is strictly B2B: joinery workshops, contractors, architects and owners of existing buildings. That is why the site does not try to be a shop, but a technical manual from which a specification with dimensions and quantities is sent.

Challenge

Alumil withdrew the M11000 system from its range and removed the pages about it, yet joinery built on that system is installed in thousands of buildings. Workshops and contractors who need to extend or replace units look for technical data that no longer exists online, while Andjelkovic-Al holds the profiles in stock. The buyer is a tradesperson after numbers, not marketing copy, and their first question is whether the system is available at all.

Solution

We built one long technical page that answers exactly those questions, hand-coded and without a CMS. It opens with an honest explanation that the manufacturer discontinued the system and what that means in practice, followed by the full data: 62.5 mm installation depth, Rw 46 dB sound insulation, sash load up to 180 kg, glazing from 5 to 54 mm and 20 to 24 mm polyamide strips. Then come the 17 typologies, certificates and classes, finishes and the range held in stock. Structured data describes the system as a product with technical properties, and two PHP endpoints handle the documentation download and the specification enquiry.

Result

A technical query that had no answer anywhere now lands on a page that resolves it in full, and the documentation download turns an anonymous visit into a contact. Enquiries arrive with specifications and quantities, so quotes are built from actual stock. The page is equally honest about when the system makes no sense, and that the company does not measure openings, visit sites or glaze units.
